NSS CAMP

NSS Comp organized at Khasla college for Women, Sidhwan Khurd

A NSS camp organized at KCW, Sidhwan Khurd from December 22 to December 30, 2010. 156 volunteers participated in this camp. College Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Paramjit Kaur inaugurated the camp. Program officers Mrs. Gurinder Kaur, Mrs. Sawarnjit Kaur and Mr. Lakhvir Gill guided NSS volunteers through out the camp. Various experts enlightened the students about various social evils and problems. Dr. GPS Kaler civil dispensary Sidhwan Khurd, Dr. Roohi from Mullapur, Mrs. Usha Chhoppra form Red Cross Ludhiana, Traffic inspector Mr. Gurcharan Singh and Dr. Iqbaljeet Kaur addressed the volunteers on the physical, mental and spiritual health. They were also made aware of first Aid, HIV, Traffic rules and inspired to fight against social evils. A Rally was also organized to at village Gureh. Cleanness and beautification of college campus was enthusiastically done by volunteers. Capt. Dalbara Singh(President of Sidhwan educational institutions ) presided over the valedictory function on December 28,2010.
